Andrew Shane has joined American Senior Communities (ASC) as Chief Operating Officer. As COO of Indiana’s largest senior care provider, he will develop and oversee the strategic direction for ASC’s day-to-day operations across nearly 100 communities.
Shane comes to ASC from Sava Senior Care in Dallas/Ft. Worth, where he served as Division President. Prior to that, he served as COO of the Urban Division at Signature Healthcare. He specializes in the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) process and has a strong commitment to quality customer service, which aligns with ASC’s core values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence (CARE).
Shane earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. Having resided in Indiana before, he says he is excited to move back to the Hoosier State from Texas with his family.
“Andy is a mission-driven leader with over 30 years of experience in health and senior care management,” ASCO CEO Donna Kelsey said. “He is collaborative and inspires joy and fun in the workplace. We are truly fortunate to include him in the ASC family, and we look forward to his leadership.”
