The Husky 4-H’ers April meeting was our Hawaiian-themed night. It was tons of fun with lots of Hawaiian shirts, flower leis, and festive decorations.
Our officers, Isaac Leonard, Tessa and Stella Hartwick, Grace Miller, Colton Hoane, and I all kept the meeting business moving.
We covered business and donations and then had several amazing demonstrations given by our members. In addition, Dawn Moos gave a guest presentation about dog obedience projects. We all sat, stayed, and listened!
Lauren Happel did an interesting scrapbooking presentation. Grant Becker brought four of his chickens in to demonstrate how to show chickens. Stella Hartwick showed a fun side of science with her elephant toothpaste presentation. To wrap up, McKenzie and Natalie Allen taught us how to extract DNA from a strawberry.
We learned so much and had a great time.
