A thank you to Richardson

To My Friend Kathy,

I first want to say thank you. Thank you for all the lives you have touched throughout your time as a leader at the Statehouse. There are many qualities in a leader but no greater than instilling passion in others. Through my time growing up I have always seen you as a giving leader.

You truly inspire others to serve with their heart. With the last day of session upon us I want to be just one voice in saying thank you. You have always been there for me. From my graduation at Noblesville and then Indiana University. From the passing of my grandfather and great grandmother. To having you officiate my wedding.

I believe I am not alone in the lives you have impacted. I am sure there are many other men and women whose lives and careers have been enhanced because of your leadership and passion. You have always had a leadership skill like no other … Instilling in others the passion to serve others. As you leave the Statehouse and make your way to the Courthouse I want to say thank you for being a great friend and mentor.

Your Friend,

Jack Russell
