Duke Energy will begin utility relocation on the east side of the Greenfield Avenue, Christian Street and 10th Street intersection on Friday, weather permitting. The work should cause minimal impact to the intersection, but flaggers will be onsite when necessary to assist with traffic. The work is anticipated to take one week.
Utility relocation is the first step in the construction of a roundabout at this intersection. Road work will begin in mid-April. Currently, the intersection has a stoplight that must cycle through three roads. The roundabout design provides a safe, effective intersection and creates a new southern gateway into the City of Noblesville. More details will be released closer to road construction.
