Guerin Catholic dropped a 6-3 home Circle City Conference game to Brebeuf Jesuit on Thursday.
The Braves never trailed, scoring two runs in the first and third innings. The Golden Eagles got on the board in the third inning when Anna Mauch doubled in Lauren Brady. In the fourth inning, Kate Brady scored on Lainey Rott’s RBI groundout. Guerin Catholic got one more run in the seventh, as Mauch doubled on base, then scored on Natalie Eiler’s left field double.
Lilli Everts also had two hits, Lucy Kemp hit a double and Harleigh Abbott hit a single.
The Golden Eagles are 1-3 and play Saturday morning at Zionsville.
