Three county football players selected for 57th Murat Shrine All Star Classic

Three football players with Hamilton County connections have been selected to play in the 57th annual Murat Shrine North/South Football All Star Classic.

The game takes place on July 14 at Decatur Central High School and is the culmination of the Indiana Football Coaches Association’s All-Star week. All three local players will play for the South team.

Hamilton Southeastern cornerback Peyton Daniels and Noblesville outside linebacker Trey Speek will play on defense. Daniels helped the Royals to a regional championship and an undefeated Hoosier Crossroads Conference season, while Speek was part of a Millers squad that reached the sectional championship game. Daniels has committed to play football at Butler University, while Speek is committed to the University of Findlay.

Cathedral wide receiver David Ayers will play on offense for the South team. Ayers, a Fishers resident, was part of the Irish’s Class 6A regional championship team. He is committed to Butler University on a baseball scholarship.
