Wayne A. Deckard, 97, Raleigh, N.C., formerly of Westfield, passed away December 27, 2017 at his home in Raleigh. He was born on February 18, 1920, son of William E. and Malinda S. Deckard.
Wayne was a World War II Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his first wife, Estelle and second wife, Eileen; three brothers, Lowell, Leonard and Ed; two sisters, Thelma and Maxine.
He is survived by his children, Larry (Becky), Dennis, Lynn (Jim); grandchildren, Rob, Pete (Hollie), Marc (Kim) and Danielle (Andrew); seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and sister, Leona.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson, Ind.
