Noblesville theatre students travel to state conference

Last weekend, the Noblesville High School Drama Club traveled to the 2023 Indiana State Thespian Conference at Saint Mary’s College in South Bend. A total of 44 NHS Theatre students attended.

The conference offered the following opportunities for the group: a one-act play competition, individual event competitions (Thespys), theatre-focused workshops, college booths, college auctions, scholarship auditions, vendors, a keynote speaker from the theatre industry (costume designer), and more.

Thespian Troupe #8118 received the honor of being a Gold Ranking Honor Troupe for the 2021-2023 school year. The troupe applied for this award by presenting a portfolio for the ’21-’22 school year with the following categories: Participation, Productions, Outreach, and Community Service. This year’s troupe officers put together the portfolio. The ’22-’23 NHS Thespian Officers are Rylee Odle, Aidan Johnston, Josiah Smith, Roux Carney, Trevor Greenlee (Chair), Sean Wood, and Maddux Morrison.
