Carmel redistricting plan in effect for 2023 elections

Graphic provided by City of Carmel

As the 2023 municipal election season nears and candidates announce their intentions regarding the Primary Election in May, residents should take note of the new Carmel City Council districts that were mapped out and approved by the City Council in November 2022.

These new district lines go into effect with this year’s elections. Many residents will be voting for different council representation than in the past. Note that residents who live in The Village on Spring Mill neighborhood are located within Carmel’s Northwest District, even though the neighborhood is located northeast of the intersection of Spring Mill Road and 146th Street in Washington Township.

If you have any questions about your address and what changes, if any, were made, you can call the Hamilton County Elections Office at (317) 776-8476 and they can help you.
