Carmel invites public to MLK Day commemoration

Join the City of Carmel, the Mayor’s Advisory Commission on Human Relations, Blair Clark, Carmel High School Choir – Ambassadors, the Carmel Ebenezer Church Praise Team, Dr. Shaune R. Shelby, 4Mation dance troupe, the Carmel Interfaith Alliance and more for the city’s commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The fifth annual event will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 16 in the Tarkington Theater at the Center for the Performing Arts.

This commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s work will feature music, dance, performances and spoken word highlighting the theme “On Being a Good Neighbor.”

This event is free and open to the public.
