Wrestling: Greyhounds dominate Center Grove in dual meet

The Carmel wrestling team took care of Center Grove 52-12 Wednesday in a dual meet between two Metropolitan Conference teams.
The Greyhounds won nine of the 13 contested matches, plus another by forfeit. Five Carmel wrestlers were victorious by pin: Tanner Simmons at 182, Andro Tawadrous at 220, Jack Williams at 285, Kyle Holman at 126 and Joe Theriot at 138.
Shuas Chundi picked up a technical fall at 106 pounds, while Cameron Bacon (at 195) and Ryan Campbell (at 132) were winners by major decision. Aidan Ellison won at 152 by decision. Brendan Mattingly received a forfeit at 120 pounds.
Carmel is next in action Saturday at the Hamilton County meet at Guerin Catholic.

Hamilton Heights fell to Anderson 58-14 in a Wednesday dual meet.
The Huskies won three matches. Cooper Mansfield took the 138-pound match by fall in 3:00. Sophomore Luke Stohler won the 170-pound match in a 16-0 technical fall. Dreiken Dunn picked a 7-0 victory at 152 pounds.
Heights will also compete at the County meet on Saturday.
