Marjorie Lineback Ellis, 91, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Allisonville Meadows in Fishers, following an extended illness. She was born on June 11, 1926 to Charles and Harriett (Farquar) Lineback in Frankfort.
Marge lived in Garrett and Auburn, working at Widener Insurance and for Dr. Thomas Johnson for many years.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Johneen and Mike Newbauer of Gulf Shores, Ala.; and her son and daughter-in-law, John and Linda Ellis of Noblesville. Also surviving are grandsons, Shannon and Shane Johnson and John and Sean Ellis. Great-grandchildren include Todd Johnson, Kayla Johnson, Vincent Johnson, Sara Ellis, Kathryn Ellis and Ava Johnson. Marge also boasted great-great-grandchildren, twins Kyla Lynn and Kaylynn, and their brother, Parker Johnson.
Marge will be laid to rest next to her husband, John G. Ellis, Jr. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
