Hamilton Heights won the Clinton Prairie Invitational on Saturday.
The Huskies scored 210 points, finishing ahead of Carroll’s 172, South Vermillion’s 159 and Rossville’s 155. Heights put seven wrestlers into the finals of their respective weight classes. Two of those wrestlers won: Dreiken Dunn took the 152-pound match by fall and Alex Naylor won at 220 in a 4-2 decision. The other five finalists were Devonte Henson at 113, Joshe Meyer at 120, Caleb Jones at 126, Cordell Cowan at 132 and Luke Stohler at 170.
The Huskies had two third-place finishes. Cooper Mansfield got the bronze at 138, as did Noah Lawson at 195. Both got pins in their last matches of the day.
Alex Kraus, Sam Dunkelburger, Kolton Myers and Trevor Cunningham all contributed points to the team as well.
Heights will be back in action Wednesday at Anderson.
