Westfield elementary schools recently competed at the state Spell Bowl, with two elementary school teams finishing in the top 10. Maple Glen Elementary School took second place in the state! Westfield Intermediate School finished first in the state for its class. The Carey Ridge Elementary team finished seventh in the state.
