Need something to do between the holidays this year? Are you are interested in 4-H but have some questions? Do you want to enroll in 4-H but don’t know how? Would you like to pick up your project manuals? Then come to the open house from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28 at the Purdue Extension Hamilton County office on the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2003 Pleasant St., Noblesville. Monday, Jan. 15 is the final day for Hamilton County youth to enroll online in the 4-H Program for 2018.
4-H is an informal educational program where youth “Learn By Doing.” Youth in grades three through 12 can learn life skills such as cooperation, leadership, decision-making, responsibility and more through hands-on projects in over 60 different subject areas. Youth in grades Kindergarten through two may enroll in Mini 4-H. The 4-H program is a great opportunity to develop a hobby, experience camp and make new friends while promoting family togetherness.
