Indiana lawmakers will tackle many hot topic items when the 2018 legislative session opens in January, with workforce development, education, taxes and alcohol laws among them. The Hamilton County Legislative Breakfast Series kicks off from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Dec. 8 at Conner Prairie, 13400 Allisonville Road, Fishers. Kevin Brinegar, Indiana Chamber President and CEO, will give a preview of the upcoming session holds.
The Legislative Breakfast Series is presented by the Hamilton County Business Issues Committee and includes representation from the four chambers of commerce in Hamilton County. Breakfast events will also be held with local legislators on Jan. 12, Feb. 9 and March 9, with a session wrap-up on April 13.
Cost for members of any Hamilton County chamber is $18 and $25 for non-members. Reservations are required by noon on Wednesday, Dec. 6, and can be made through OneZone or any of the Hamilton County chambers.
