The Carmel Clay Republican Club will hold an informal mixer gathering on Thursday, Sept. 15, open to all at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), 12863 Old Meridian St., Carmel.
County and township candidates in the upcoming November election are invited to the free get-together from 6 to 9 p.m. No formal program is planned, according to club president Barry Simich.
“It will be similar to the popular mixers we have had the last two years, and will be hosted by Matt Snyder,” Simich said. “It is a good opportunity for folks to get to know each other and many of the candidates.”
Not only Republicans will be welcome, but anyone interested in the local political scene, Simich stressed. The VFW bar will be open for those wishing food or beverages.
