The Hamilton Heights girls swimming and diving team moved to 3-0 after beating Anderson 135-49 on Tuesday.
“The Husky girls had a great night taking first places in every event but one,” said Heights coach Sue Beale.
The Huskies scored 1-2-3 sweeps in two events. First was the 200 freestyle, where Rachel Sanqunetti won, Allison Osborne took second and Madi Hasler finished third. Sanqunetti also led the sweep in the backstroke, with Tara Holder taking second and Osborne placing third.
Other double winners were Claire Sloderbeck in the 50 and 100 freestyles and Ryleigh Poe in the butterfly and 500 free. Holder was first in the individual medley. Emily Lester was part of the winning medley relay and Tiffany Williams, Lucy Uhrick and Madi Hasler swam on the first-place 200 freestyle relay. Jordyn Feiwell and Bailey Haworth finished 1-2 in diving.
The Heights boys took a loss to Anderson in their first meet of the year, 128-42.
Despite their small size, Beale said the Huskies boys team “had some good swims in their season opener.” Senior Logan Fakes won the 200 freestyle and took second place in the 100 breaststroke. Tony Hardin had both second places in the 50 and 100 freestyles and Joe Ringer won the 500 freestyle and placed third in the backstroke.
Lee Martin won the diving event with the score of 180.55.
