The Noblesville boys tennis team won its own Invitational on Saturday.
First, the Millers defeated Northwestern 4-1. Noblesville quickly took both doubles matches, as No. 1 Rory Bushong/Liam Shepard won 6-2, 6-2 and No. 2 Camden David/Caden David won 6-2, 6-1. The Tigers won the No. 1 singles match, but No. 3 singles Jack Gigante clinched the meet for Noblesville with a 7-5, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles. No. 2 singles Jack Brenneman won 6-2, 6-2.
In its second match, Noblesville swept past New Palestine 5-0. Just like in the morning match, the Millers quickly went up 2-0. This time, it was the Nos. 2 and 3 singles matches, as No. 2 Brenneman got a 6-0, 6-0 shutout and No. 3 Camden David was a 6-0, 6-1 winner.
Both Noblesville doubles matches followed with wins: No. 1 Bushong/Shepard won 6-3, 6-3 and No. 2 Caden David/Gigante took a 6-2, 6-2 victory. No. 1 singles Ethan Feliciano battled back from dropping the first set 6-1 to win the second set 6-2. He then prevailed in a third-set super tiebreak 10-8 to give the Millers the sweep.
