The public is welcome and invited to attend a public workshop to identify and discuss priorities for the Cicero Municipal Buildings Master Plan. The Town’s Planning Consultant, Strategic Planning Studio and the Cicero Steering Committee members will be in attendance to address questions, concerns, and receive input on the plan.
The workshop will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 30 at the Red Bridge Community Building in Red Bridge Park, 697 W. Jackson St., Cicero.
The purpose of the Municipal Buildings Master Plan is to identify opportunities which will allow Cicero to take the next steps towards addressing their immediate and long term space needs. This includes establishing an understanding of the current conditions, analysis of the factors that will impact and influence future decisions in our community, establishing the core vision and goals for addressing our immediate and long term space needs, as well as establishing priorities and methods to implement work.
The three focus areas of the plan will include: research and analysis, staff and architectural space programming and potential building projects.
All are encouraged to attend this public workshop to assist the town in developing the future of downtown Cicero.
