The Carmel girls golf team made it 3-for-3 on Wednesday, as the No. 1-ranked Greyhounds triumphed at the Tipton Invitational at the Tipton Municipal Golf Course.
Carmel had two squads at the event, and the Greyhounds “A” team won with a 300. Three Carmel players finished in the top five individually: Claire Swathwood tied for second with a 73, Ava Nguyen placed fourth with a 74 and Michaela Headlee finished fifth with a 76.
Fourth-ranked Westfield also had two teams at Tipton. The Shamrocks’ “A” team was the runner-up by scoring 306, while their “B” team was third with a 342. Addi Kooi, playing on the Westfield “A” team, was the meet medalist with a 72.
Hamilton Heights played at the event, with Anna Rickey leading the Huskies by carding an 87.
