The Reporter has learned there are a total of seven total provisional ballots in all of Hamilton County. Only one of those from a voter within the new House District 32 boundaries, and that is a Democratic primary ballot which will have no bearing on the race between Republican candidates Fred Glynn, Suzie Jaworowski, and Paul Nix.
The Hamilton County Election Board will meet on Friday, May 13 to review provisional ballots and certify the final results.
In Marion County, there are two provisional ballots from District 32. There is currently no confirmation if those are Republican or Democratic votes. The Marion County Election Board will open those two ballots next Thursday, May 12.
While that could narrow the margin between Glynn and Jaworowski, there are not enough provisional ballots in play to change the final result. Keep reading The Reporter for updates and the eventual outcome of this exceptionally close race.
