Recent research by the Brookings Institution, IU Public Policy Institute and Indy Chamber shows that, while many parts of the Indianapolis region are thriving, too many jobs are going unfilled, poverty is increasing, the economy is misaligned between employer needs and workforce capability and the barriers to upward mobility are increasing. What that means to the region, including Hamilton County, will be explored at OneZone’s November luncheon.
The luncheon will take places from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, at the FORUM Conference Center, 11313 USA Pkwy., Fishers. Drew Klacik, Senior Policy Analyst at the IU Public Policy Institute; and the Indy Chamber’s Mark Fisher, VP of Government Relations and Policy Development, and Matt Impink, Manager of Policy and Civic Engagement, will take a look at the research results and the strategies for shared prosperity, improved economic outcomes and inclusive sustainable growth throughout the region.
