Hamilton Heights dropped a Hoosier Conference East Division game Friday at Western, 60-46.
The Panthers led 18-13 after the first quarter and 29-20 at halftime. Isaac Tuma had two 3-pointers for the Huskies during the first half. Western extended its lead to 47-32 after three periods.
Tillman Etchison led Heights with 13 points, while Tuma scored 11. Luke Carroll added 10 points, and also had six rebounds and two blocked shots.
The Huskies are 1-1 in division play and 2-4 overall. Heights’ game with Noblesville that was scheduled for tonight was postponed, so the Huskies will next play Wednesday at the Franklin County Tournament. Heights plays Triton Central in a noon game, following the first game between Seton Catholic and Franklin County. The third-place game is set for 6 p.m., with the championship game to follow.
