Shamrocks stun No. 9 Zionsville

Westfield scored a convincing win over Class 4A No. 9 Zionsville Friday night, beating the Eagles 57-37 in an away Hoosier Crossroads Conference game for its sixth straight win.
The two teams played to a 13-13 tie after the first quarter. After that, the Shamrocks outscored Zionsville in each of the next three periods. Westfield led 27-24 at halftime, then blasted through the second half, outscoring the Eagles by 30-13.
Olivia Robey led the ‘Rocks with 17 points. Alyssa Crockett was next with 15 points, including an 11-of-12 performance from the free-throw line. Crockett also led the rebounds with seven and handed out four assists.
Westfield is 1-1 in conference and 9-2 overall. The Shamrocks continue HCC play Tuesday at Avon.
