Six Hamilton County football players are among the Indiana Football Coaches Association’s Top 50 All-State players for 2021.
The IFCA named 27 offensive players and 23 defensive players to the list. The majority were seniors, although seven juniors were also on the list.
Locally, four county players are on the offensive list, including two seniors from Class 6A state runner-up Westfield: Quarterback Maximus Webster and running back Micah Hauser. Hauser was also named the Mr. Football position winner in the running back category.
Also on the Top 50 offensive list are Fishers senior wide receiver Jeffrey Simmons and Carmel junior offensive lineman Ethan Trent. The two county defensive players on the Top 50 list are Westfield senior defensive lineman Popeye Williams and Carmel junior linebacker Will Heldt.
