Members of the 2021-22 Sheridan High School basketball team had a grand tour of the Coach Larry Hobbs Era exhibit at the Sheridan Historical Society’s Museum located on Main Street.

One of the Hobbs Era players – and current member of the Hamilton County Basketball Hall of Fame as well as a member of the Sheridan Historical Society – is John Holmes. As a member of the Historical Society and a leading proponent of the Hobbs exhibit, Holmes invited team members and coaches to see the exhibit honoring Coach Hobbs and his outstanding basketball teams from the 1950s to show them the basketball legacy in Sheridan.
