The Millers led 14-7 after the first quarter, then took control in the second period, allowing Brownsburg only four points. Noblesville held a 29-11 lead at halftime, and then went up 45-21 in the third quarter.
Three Millers players reached double figures, starting with Reagan Wilson’s 13 points. Ashlynn Shade was all over the stat line, reaching double-double status with 11 points and 10 rebounds, then dishing out four assists and making four steals. Kaitlyn Shoemaker added 10 points.
Shade and Brooklyn Ely both drained two 3-pointers. Brooklyn Smitherman, making a return after an injury, collected six rebounds, as did Wilson. Meredith Tippner had five rebounds.
Noblesville is 4-0 and travels to Homestead this evening for a 6:30 p.m. varsity tipoff, after the 5 p.m. junior varsity contest. The Spartans are also 4-0.
