Jamie and Amy Shinneman met at Noblesville High School in 1989. Amy was born with a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy that causes very weak muscles and affects her ability to walk. She has never had the opportunity to run in her life. And yet, on Nov. 7, Amy, Jamie and one of their sons, Luke, participated together in the famed New York City Marathon using a duo bike chair. All three finished together with a time of 3:26, and raised over $20,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in the process.
