Carmel Community Players needs your support to build their own playhouse

After 28 years and over 150 live performances at different venues around town, Carmel Community Players (CCP) has announced it is embarking on a campaign to have its own Playhouse – a place to call home.

The new facility will offer 133 comfortable tired theater-style seats for each performance, a state-of-the-art sound system, modern energy-efficient ventilation, plenty of parking, and more.

Additionally, the CCP Playhouse will be available to other performing arts organizations that don’t have a place of their own. As a result, CCP will be able to expand a rehearsal space and programs into the community, including treasured senior citizens.

CCP invites theater patrons to support its capital campaign, and donations can be made at any level. Here are some specific levels:

  • Put your name on a room for $5,000 – Put your name on the Men’s, Women’s, or Concession stand – only three opportunities available at this level.
  • Buy a floor tile for $1,000 – Add your name to our Playhouse with your custom engraved floor tile.
  • Buy a seat for $500 – 133 opportunities to have your or a loved one’s name on a plaque a seat.
  • Buy a recognition nameplate for $250 – Have your name added to the CCP Wall of Recognition.

If you are interested in donating $15,000 or more to help build the new theater, CCP is also selling one-of-a-kind naming rights to the following areas: Theater, Auditorium, Rehearsal Studio, Lobby, the Hearing Loop System for the hearing impaired, and the Tech Booth.
