Members of the Sheridan Community Schools staff came together this past Saturday to support the community’s Youth Assistance Denim & Lace Fundraiser. The event drew a crowd of 240 people and raised approximately $20,000. Youth Assistance programs throughout the county take a proactive approach to provide mental health counseling, parenting support classes, mentoring programs, food, clothing and financial assistance, camp and recreation opportunities, in addition to several other services for local youth and their families.
