Public invited to attend groundbreaking for ‘The Signature’ development in Carmel

Carmel city officials invite you to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for The Signature, a new mixed-use development on the northeast corner of Old Meridian and Main streets in Carmel.

The groundbreaking will take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 1. Mayor Jim Brainard and Carmel Redevelopment Director Henry Mestetsky will join representatives with Tegethoff Development and Great Lakes Capital.

This future mixed-use development will include 295 residential units for rent, including studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, along with eight condominiums for sale. Two-bedroom condos start at $399,000. Also available is retail for lease. Project amenities will include a resort-style pool, golf simulator, 4,000-plus square-foot fitness center, private event space, high-tech offices, pickleball court, garage parking and more.

Groundbreaking event parking will be available west of the project site at Genesis Church, 13200 Old Meridian St.
