The Hamilton Southeastern boys and Noblesville girls cross country teams were the winners at Saturday’s Hoosier Crossroads Conference meet, which took place Saturday at Brownsburg.
The Royals boys edged out their district rival Fishers, scoring 63 points to the Tigers’ 69 points. Southeastern’s Nolan Satterfield was the race winner, finishing in a time of 15 minutes, 36.24 seconds. Bennett DuBois also landed in the top 10, placing sixth.
Fishers had three runners reach the top 10. Alec Foster led the way by taking seventh, followed by Nick Pulos in ninth and Sam Quagliaroli in 10th.
Noblesville finished fourth as a team and had two runners place in the top five. Asher Propst finished third and Joel Mumaw was second.
Westfield took sixth in the team standings, with Kai Connor the individual runner-up.
In the girls race, Noblesville won with 43 points, finishing comfortable ahead of runner-up Westfield’s 72 points. The Millers had three runners place in the top 10, led by Summer Rempe in fifth. Brinkley Cooper took sixth and Paige Hazelrigg was seventh.
The Shamrocks had two runners reach the top 10. Liz Smith was eighth and Hannah Pensyl took 10th.
Hamilton Southeastern placed third as a team and had two runners land in the top five. Maggie Powers took second, the highest finish among county runners, and Allie Latta was fourth.
Fishers took seventh place as a team. Elizabeth Barrett finished third.

Carmel swept the Metropolitan Conference meet, which took place Saturday at Ben Davis.
The Greyhounds boys team scored 25 points, with Center Grove scoring 42 points for second place. Kole Mathison ran away with the individual race, taking first in a time of 15:22.07. Carmel had six of its seven runners finish in the top 10; Charles Schuman placed third.
Carmel’s girls team edged out North Central for the team title, 31-33. Jasmine Klopstad won the race in 18:28.60, with Jamie Klavon taking second and Olivia Mundt finishing fourth.
