Last Saturday’s Cicero Street Festival filled Jackson Street with the town’s last summer event. Among the many activities were various street dances, including a hula hoop contest won by Heights student Kennedy Cherry (above).

With temperatures well over 80 degrees last Saturday, Cicero’s Street Festival was the hot place to be in Hamilton County. Activities included hula hoop contests and a Hokey Pokey dance for the kids. The festival included vendors, food, cornhole competitions, a bounce house, a dunk tank and even the Bookmobile. Thousands of people came to enjoy the festivities and the Nickel Plate Express had 200 riders.
