The Hamilton Southeastern boys tennis team cruised past Avon 5-0 on Thursday, giving them a perfect 7-0 record in Hoosier Crossroads Conference meets this season.
The No. 3-ranked Royals won all five matches over the No. 22 Orioles in straight sets. That included a 6-0, 6-0 victory for Abhi Chaddha at No. 3 singles.
“Overall, I thought we all played very well tonight,” said Southeastern coach Kirk Webber.
The Royals are 11-1 and play at No. 13 Center Grove on Saturday.

Noblesville, ranked No. 27, beat Franklin Central 4-1 in an away HCC meet.
The Millers swept all three singles matches and also won at No. 1 doubles. Noah Bushong won the No. 1 singles match 6-0, 6-1, giving him a 6-1 record against HCC opponents this season.
Noblesville hosts Anderson on Wednesday.
