‘Rocks beat Harrison for season’s first win

Westfield picked up its first win of the season Friday night, beating Harrison on the road 33-11.
The Shamrocks scored 19 points in the first quarter and carried the momentum from there. Westfield scored on its opening drive, with Maximus Webster finishing it by throwing a 15-yard touchdown pass to Nic Depasquale. Later, Webster connected with Ian Bruch for a 36-yard TD pass, then also threw a touchdown reception to Gabe Aramboles.
In the fourth quarter, Trevon Hatchett scored on a two-yard run, then Micah Hauser added a one-yard rushing touchdown to complete the scoring. Hauser led the Shamrocks rushing with 114 yards.
Webster went 15-of-19 through the air, totaling 185 yards and three touchdowns. Depasquale had five catches for 49 yards, with Aramboles making four receptions totaling 43 yards and Bruch getting three catches for 76 yards.
Tyler Dikos led the Westfield defense with 13 total tackles, followed by Charlie Dager with 11.
The Shamrocks are 1-1 and open Hoosier Crossroads Conference play next Friday at Zionsville.
