A two-seat biplane made an emergency landing on 96th Street at Covington Boulevard, the Fishers Fire Department said Wednesday night. The pilot was the only occupant. Police say the plane did not strike any cars or cause any injuries. Capt. John Mehling of the Fishers Fire Department says the reason for the landing was “mechanical” but didn’t have further details. No additional details about the landing were immediately available.
