Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation (CCPR) invites the public to participate in a public input meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 1 to discover the community’s vision for Bear Creek Park, located at 146th Street and Shelborne Road.
The public workshop will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Jill Perelman Pavilion, 3000 W. 116th St., Carmel.
CCPR and its consultant will gather public input throughout workshops and focus groups to develop the Bear Creek Park Master Plan, prioritizing park amenities and programming valued by the community. This new park was purchased in 2020 and is comprised of more than 26 acres of undeveloped land located in northwest Carmel. The master plan will help guide the ultimate design of the park’s development over the next several years.
Additional public workshops, park visits, and online options will be offered throughout the master plan process. Stay tuned to CCPR’s social media and carmelclayparks.com/parks/bear-creek-park for more information.
