En Pointe Indiana Ballet celebrated five years on Aug. 8.
The classical ballet school located at 15309 Stony Creek Way, Noblesville, started with two iconic retired professional dancers and a dream. Five years later, co-artistic directors Pollyana Ribeiro and Robert Moore are proud to operate one of the most distinguished Central Indiana ballet schools and to have graduated several talented students to prestigious ballet companies and collegiate programs across the U.S.
As a premier ballet school, En Pointe welcomes dancers ages 3 to 22, beginner to pre-professional and offers the highest level of instruction including ballet technique, pointe, variations, repertoire, pas de deux, jazz, modern, contemporary, tap and more.
Additionally, En Pointe features several elite guest instructors, choreographers and world-famous artists annually to help students refine their ballet technique.
“I’m extremely happy with the way our ballet school is growing and the opportunities earned by our dancers,” said Ribeiro. “I’m continually inspired by all the dancers and the hard work they put in week after week. Also, it is such a joy to enrich the community through the performing arts and share our students’ love for their craft through our annual performances. Truly, dance can take you anywhere in life.”
Ribeiro and Moore each have been dancing professionally for over 20 years, and Ribeiro is one of the top professional dancers within ballet. Both were classically trained at the Harid Conservatory and have traveled around the world dancing and teaching with world renowned companies. Both have achieved ballet master status.
En Pointe’s 2021-2022 season of classes kicked off on Aug. 2. A wide variety of dance classes are offered Monday through Saturday by age group and level. Additionally, the school hosts several annual performances, including local holiday tradition – An En Pointe Christmas, a February Cirque du Soleil-inspired original performance, Curiosity, and a full-length story ballet each spring.
En Pointe serves Noblesville, Fishers, Carmel, Westfield, Geist, Zionsville and surrounding dance students. In celebration of the school’s success and to further welcome the community into their studio, En Pointe is offering studio tours and a free trial class to any new student. Interested families just need to call the studio at (317) 645-1448 to arrange for a tour and free trial class.
