Robin Sue Eckart, 57, Noblesville, passed away on July 16, 2021 at her home after a valiant battle with cancer.
She was born April 21, 1964 in Tipton to Max Gene and Marilyn Alice (Peltier) Starrett. She grew up in Arcadia and attended Hamilton Heights Schools. She graduated from Hamilton Heights High School with the Class of 1982.
Robin was a passionate supporter of Hamilton Heights Husky Football, as she had family members who played for Husky teams and also helped coach the Orange and White. She was also a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved being a “Geej” to her precious grandbabies and was looking forward to the newest granddaughter due to be born in December. She greatly enjoyed vacations with her family, especially where there was sand and sun.
Robin had worked in the Hamilton County Courthouse for over 20 years, lastly serving residents in the Assessor’s Office. She was a member of Arcadia Church of the Brethren.
She married Jerry Wayne Eckart in 1986. He survives her. Also surviving her are sons, Ross (Katherine) Eckart, Indianapolis, Thomas Eckart, Avon; daughters, Hilary (Anthony) Kilfoil, Monmouth, Ill., Melissa (Bill) Moore, Indianapolis; brothers, Gene (Colleen) Starrett, Cicero, and Donald (Garieth) Starrett, Pendleton; plus grandchildren, Cooper, Lydia, Quinn and Gigi.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Arcadia Church of the Brethren, 8989 E. 266th St., Arcadia, with visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, also at the church. Burial will occur at a later date at Arcadia Cemetery.
