A sure sign of the Hamilton County 4-H Fair is an active Llama Barn. The barn was busy Friday with the Obstacle Class, in which handlers lead their llamas through an obstacle course. The official program says that the class “is designed to demonstrate the training and trust that has developed between the animal and the handler.”

Activities continue in the Llama Barn throughout the Fair. Today’s activities begin with the 4-H Junior Llama Showmanship at 9:30 a.m., with the 4-H Llama Field Obstacle starting at 1:30 p.m.

On Sunday, the Walk-A-Llama Games and Activities start at 1 p.m.; that event is open to public participation. The Parents’ Llama Show is set for 2:30 p.m.

The Llama Barn activity wraps up Monday with the Llama Youth Judging Class at 10 a.m.
