The Indiana swimming championship season began Thursday with the Senior State Meet, which is taking place at Pike High School.
There was only one event Thursday night: The 1500 freestyle, both the women’s and men’s timed finals. In the men’s race, Aaron Frollo of Fishers Area Swimming Tigers took second place to be the highest Hamilton County finisher. Meanwhile, Erin Cummins of Carmel Swim Club was the highest-placing county woman, taking fourth in the race.
The meet continues tomorrow with races in the 400 individual medley, 100 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 100 breaststroke and the 400 medley relay. Results from the 1500 freestyle now follow.
