Funds will support programs for Hoosiers who are blind, visually impaired
The Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation held its sixth annual Bosma Visionary Golf Classic on June 14 at The Club at Chatham Hills in Westfield, raising $45,000 to support transformational programming for people with vision loss.
Foursomes played the Pete Dye-designed course in a Florida Scramble format and enjoyed food, drinks, games and prizes. Proceeds will benefit the Bosma Center for Visionary Solutions, whose programs enable Hoosiers who have lost their sight to live full and independent lives. The event included awareness activities to increase understanding of the challenges faced by people with vision loss and how Bosma’s programs help to overcome them.
“We are very excited by the overwhelming success of this year’s Bosma Visionary Golf Classic,” said Foundation Executive Director Arvetta Jideonwo. “It could not have taken place without our sponsors and their tremendous generosity.”
Event sponsors include presenting sponsor Ansell Healthcare Products and title sponsor DirectEmployers Association, along with the Central Indiana Community Foundation, ECHO, PPG, JEP Services and ProTeam Tactical Performance.
