Enjoy the exclusive sneak peek to songs in concert from the new musical Ever After, based on the 1998 Drew Barrymore film, starring Christy Altomare (Anastasia, Mamma Mia!) and Corey Cott (Gigi, Bandstand) at Feinstein’s Cabaret in the Hotel Carmichael, brought to you by Discovering Broadway Inc. You can also participate in a discussion with the creative team about how the show came into being and the process of creating a new musical.

Ever After will be the second show to participate in Discovering Broadway Inc.’s program. Discovering Broadway Inc. Founder Joel Kirk said, “We are excited to host this brilliant team of artists as they craft this delightful and enchanting story.”
On Sunday, May 23 at 5 and 7:30 p.m., Discovering Broadway Inc. will present songs in concert from the new musical Ever After starring Christy Altomare and Corey Cott at the newly opened Feinstein’s Cabaret located in Carmel’s Hotel Carmichael.
Altomare starred in Anastasia for the entirety of the Broadway musical’s run. Cott is best known for playing Jack Kelly in the Broadway musical Newsies and originating the role of Donny Novitski in the Broadway musical Bandstand.
Altomare said, “It is always a wonderful day when it is spent in Indiana. I am beyond excited to be participating in the writers retreat this May! Ever After is one of my favorite shows and I can’t wait to see what inspiration hits amidst such a warm, welcoming, and creative environment.”
Ever After is written by award-winning songwriting team Zina Goldrich and lyrics by Marcy Heisler (Dear Edwina, Breathe), with a book by Marcy Heisler and Kate Wetherhead (Submissions Only, The Devil Wears Prada). Directing the new musical is Marlo Hunter (Saved By the Bell).
