The schedule for the 2021 Girls Lacrosse State Finals has been announced.
The event will take place June 3 to 5 at Warren Central. Three Hamilton County teams – Carmel, Hamilton Southeastern and Westfield – will be among the eight teams (four in two classes) who will be competing for a state championship.
The state finals begin on Thursday, June 3 with the Class 2A semi-finals. Southeastern will play Castle at 6 p.m. in the first game, followed by Carmel taking on Cathedral in the second game at 8 p.m. The winners advance to the 2A state championship game, which begins at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 5.
The Class 1A semi-finals will take place on Friday, June 4. Westfield takes on Crown Point in the first game, to start at 6 p.m. The second game begins at 8 p.m. and features Heritage Christian and Evansville Central. The winners play the 1A state championship game at 4:30 p.m. on June 5, following the 2A championship game.
