Sophie Stahl, a 2021 senior at Noblesville High School, has earned a $500 scholarship from Hunter Estate & Elder Law that will aid in her tuition and book fees this fall while attending Purdue University to study biology and Spanish.

In her Time Flies Scholarship application, Stahl shared that she would go back to the year 2008. “While the future is frightening, unknown, and still a mystery, the past is lived, loved, and experienced,” wrote Stahl. “The young me would want teach me to see the world through my childish eyes again, to experience the childlike wonder that kids have, and to stop and enjoy the small things in life.”

The guidance department at Noblesville High School made Stahl aware of the scholarship and encouraged her to apply.

Following her receipt of the scholarship, Stahl had a message for hopeful 2021 scholarship applicants in Hamilton County: “Have fun with the writing prompt. It is very interesting and a chance to use creativity.”

Applications for the 2022 Hunter Estate & Elder Law scholarship can be found at hunterlawoffice.net/scholarship. The deadline is March 31, 2022.
