BGCN opens summer program enrollment

Camp Crosser & Club Daybreak slated for June & July

School is almost out, and the Club is IN for summer. BGCN offers two engaging summer programs for youth ages 6-12 and begin June 7 and end July 30, both incorporating weeklong sessions.

Club Daybreak is a fun-filled daily summer program located at 1700 Conner St. Members will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of themed, weekly activities ranging from playing in a carpet ball tournament in the Gamesroom to creating water color masterpieces in the Art Room to taking part in a field trip to the Noblesville Airport.

“The Club staff always look forward to the traditional summer activities that our members love like water activities and roller skating!” said BGCN Unit Director Abby Stutesman. “This summer, we are introducing a few themes that will bring out adventure and exploration; like Cultural Week will bring sushi and tamale making while DIY Kids Week will bring hands-on building activities … hammer, nails and wood … they get to build!”

Hours of Club Daybreak are from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weeklong sessions are $100 per week per member for $275 for a family of three or more. Before care will be offered from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. for $10 per child per week, while after care will be offered from 4 to 6 p.m. per child per week.

Camp Crosser is a high-energy, outdoor summer program designed to provide kids with adventurous and educational experiences. Campers meet at the Club each morning and are bused to the 20-acre Camp Crosser a few miles north of Noblesville along the banks of the White River.

“Campers can be most excited about being able to create memories and explore the great outdoors as well as connect and make new friendships!” said Camp Director Justin Cowan. “Campers can also look forward to our fun activities such as archery, zip line across the White River, campfire cooking, and so much more.”

New themed weeks this year will range from Camp Hogwarts week where campers will be able to participate in many Harry Potter-themed activities to Space Week where campers will discover the science behind the galaxy and beyond. Registration fees are $115 per child per week-long session with eight sessions available. Space is limited.
