The City of Noblesville is actively preparing for a spectacular 2021 Noblesville Fireworks Festival, and city officials have announced details for the free events taking place on Sunday, July 4 beginning at 4:30 p.m. with the Stars & Stripes Forever Parade through Downtown Noblesville.
The Noblesville Fourth of July parade, festival, and fireworks display is the longest continuously running celebration in Central Indiana and an annual tradition in Noblesville since 1997.
“We are planning a great community celebration for the Fourth of July,” Mayor Chris Jensen said. “While COVID-19 impacted our plans last year, we were still able to enjoy the holiday safely. I know more families and residents are eager to get out this summer and our plans provide fun activities for all ages. I know the Noblesville community will enjoy the festivities we have planned as we honor our nation’s independence.”
The day kicks off with the annual Stars & Stripes Forever Fourth of July Parade at 4:30 p.m. Registration to participate in the parade is $25 (nonprofits are not charged) and entries must be submitted by June 30. Forms are available at NoblesvilleFireworksFestival.com.
The free Fireworks Festival will take place at Forest Park from 6 to 10 p.m. The event will include traditional park amenities such as playgrounds, shelters and shade; along with festival items like a mobile zipline, an axe throwing trailer, flying trapeze, inflatables, trackless train and a kids’ area. An adult area will include a beer garden and games. Hairbangers Ball will perform on the main stage from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The day will end with the annual fireworks show, which will begin at 10 p.m.
In addition to all the events planned, Forest Park will also feature a limited VIP section where families and friends can purchase tables for the evening. These tables offer up-close seating to the live music performance, an exceptional view of the fireworks, and a great meeting place to safely gather and eat in between activities.
VIP table groups may bring in their own food and drink, participate in a table decorating contest, and get access to separate VIP restroom options. This new area expands the festival’s seating and viewing options. Tables seat eight people and cost $160. Registration will open to the public at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 30 online at NoblesvilleFireworksFestival.com. Funds received for VIP section accommodations help defray costs of hosting the community event.
More announcements about the upcoming Fourth of July festivities will be released soon. For more information about sponsoring or donating to the holiday activities, call Robert Herrington at (317) 776-6324.
