Sheriff’s K9 team to host nationally known instructor

The Central Indiana K9 Association Inc. (CIK9) will assist with a training seminar for K9 teams across Central Indiana. This event will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27 at the O.V. Winks Building at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2300 Pleasant St., Noblesville.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office will play host to the training seminar, and the instructor for the training sessions will be Larry Krohn. Krohn has been a federal agent for over 20 years and works as a trainer with Pak Masters, a dog training organization based in Bowling Green, Ky., and Nashville, Tenn.

This seminar is geared toward K9 teams and their specific needs. It will focus on eCollar techniques, training methodology, and problem solving. Meals will be provided for the K9 teams.
