Hamilton County motorists will see two major east-west corridors close on April 5.
As part of the State Road 37 project, 146th Street between Herriman Boulevard and the entrance to Jagger’s (approximately 700 feet east of SR 37) will be closed for approximately one week to all thru traffic for road construction. The estimated completion date is Monday, April 12.
County highway officials recommend using the posted detour route of Allisonville Road, 141st Street, and Cumberland Road.
Also closing on April 5 will be 236th Street between Deming Road and Devaney Road to all thru traffic. The closure is Phase II of the 236th Street East Rehabilitation Project. The estimated project completion date is Tuesday, Aug. 3.
Local traffic on 236th Street will continue to have access to their homes, while thru traffic is asked to use the posted detour route of 256th Street, Anthony Road, and Devaney Road.
